We're back for another episode week in the life of an agency owner, an entrepreneurial person. Um, I hope everybody else had a wonderful week. It's crazy how January's just ripping by. Uh, before you know it, it's going to be done. And, uh, that's, this week came up quickly for some reason. I was trying to figure out what was going on.
Uh, so this week in the. It was an exciting week. It was a lot of like internal work, which is good. Winter tends to be our slower months. We have many events this month, but this week was a bit slower, so it was great to catch up on things. Uh, I did a lot of, like I said, internal work, got some of the.
Automation stuff up For our website, what we're doing is I did a webinar with Cody Kins. If you still need to see that, I'll link it below, and I'll link my, uh, ver version of it. Cody and I have the same performance, but, um, it helped get views on my channel, but it performed well over on his channel.
Performed. Okay. Every time I spoke about myself, I would put a QR code up on the screen for what's considered to be on my channel and in the automation that we did. That way, people could scan the QR code and go to the website where they could be entered to get more information about myself and hopefully a course that I will be coming out with.
Um, here in a little bit. So that was great. I got a lot of great responses from that. I think it just shows, again, power exposure, which I think I talked about last week, but I worked on some of the automation processes behind that, taking some of the liftings off my side and having to not, you know, send emails, resend emails, all that kind of fun stuff.
So, I worked on that. I worked on my website as well. One of the things that I'm trying to balance on my website is creativity versus context. So right now, very word heavy, which I'm not super excited about, but I needed to get something up there first and second. I wanted to make something visually appealing for anybody that came and visited and got a decent representation of what we do.
So that was the idea behind it, just getting up and running. Um, and then ta, you know, spending the next couple weeks perfecting it, cleaning it up. And again, I think that's probably a mentality that many people can take when they're starting a new business or trying to accomplish something, are you have to take steps.
Like, keep taking steps forward. Have to be perfect from the start. You need to take one more step towards that goal, one more step towards what you're trying to achieve, and not let perfection or not let the complete picture interfere with what you have going on. So, uh, that was kind of like the big theme of this week: just keep moving forward and taking another step towards a goal or towards accomplishing something.
Some of the other things were focused mainly on staying active. Community. I want to be a more prominent community member, community component, or person. Uh, especially here in Denver. It's thriving. It's very youthful. A lot is going on. And if you don't get out of your usual comfort zone or if you don't get out of your standard shell, you don't go to different restaurants, different bars, other, you know, events.
I think that is, uh, you know, something that can help you meet new people, create new connections. That is super powerful. So that was one thing I worked on this week. Uh, juvenile diabetes found, uh, an organization here in Denver. Uh, they had young professionals meet up this past week. I'll put that link down below.
And, if you're interested or in Denver and interested in joining, it's only a couple B, or I shouldn't say a couple of bucks, 50, or 60 dollars for the year. And they host these events, and It's almost monthly or close to monthly. So, um, you know, definitely take a look at that. If you're not in Denver, some of your little communities, what can you do to get more involved in the community?
How can you meet new people? Uh, and it can be around the things that you love. It can be around golf, it can be around, uh, you know, hockey, if you play hockey, if it can be around, you know, so many different things. Uh, there's so many other activities, sporting events, uh, that you can get involved in and more ingrained in the community.
Again, that is part of my exposure plan for this year, which is trying to be more ingrained in the community here in Denver. That was, like, the week in a couple. It is a ramble on, but I hope you got some value from that next week; we'll have a bunch more stuff.
We got some cool projects coming up out of a lot of experiential events, uh, this past week here in Colorado. Hopefully, something comes up for Super Bowl, so hang tight. And, yeah, always, the week's theme. Always just take one more step towards your goal. Always keep moving forward and, uh, trying to progress.
Have a wonderful day. Have a wonderful week. We'll talk to you all next time. Have a good one.
